CALL FOR DEMOS

CALL FOR DEMOS   The Call-for-Demos is available for download here.

IEEE ICBC 2023 cordially welcomes proposals for "show-and-tell" demonstration sessions (demos) to demonstrate research prototypes and decentralized applications related to the following domains: finance and payments, networks, IoT, Vehicular Networks, Industrial IoT, computing, or service platforms, and involving the coordination of autonomous resources by Blockchain (BC) and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT). In this context, the ICBC 2023 organizers encourage presentations of demos related to any of the technical relevant areas within the scope of the conference.

Via the demo sessions, ICBC 2023 offers a unique opportunity to both researchers from academia and industry to showcase applications, demonstrate ground-breaking prototypes, elucidate innovative solutions, and engage with a highly skilled audience in discussing new pertinent emerging technologies.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR DEMOS

Prospective contributors are expected to turn in a demo proposal in the form of a 2-page paper in the IEEE conference double-column format, preferably incorporating a demo system architecture illustration.

Demo papers will be peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be included in the electronic conference proceedings bundle provided to ICBC 2023 delegates and will be subsequently made available via IEEE Xplore.

The demo proposals will be reviewed by an ICBC 2023 demo program committee and will be approved based on the availability of demo space as well as on the following selection criteria:

  • Extent and significance of the research contribution,
  • The potential impact on the audience,
  • Quality of the proposed implementation,
  • Presentation quality.

At least one author of each accepted demo proposal is required to register for the ICBC 2023 at the full conference rate and present their demo at the scheduled demo session.
